award-winning avatar. it was one Tuesday afternoon and the three of us blockmates just finished lunch and waited for our three-hour break to be over. our other blockmates had already gone home and we still have to wait for our tap dance session. this is the crucial part of having only two subjects on that day.
out of thin air, it hit me in the head to do something worthwhile. so i brought out a clean sheet of paer and marker. i wrote down one horrifying truth... but it's not too good to be true. and i like this!
i asked Dot to take my picture as i pose with the sign. we have to stop halfway because we're doing to photo op along the hall of Sec-A, avoiding looks from passers-by. finally, a simple masterpiece that soon became an official avatar.

at bumenta naman, box office hit! anyone who cared enough to look at my avatar on Y!Messenger were awestruck. pampatanggal ng antok, pampaalis ng pagkabangag, pampalipas oras. panalo ako. |
in sickness and in health. for two weeks, i underwent various stages of illness, and no one seemed to notice that i'm suffering from them. except for the unavoidable cough and loud sniffs. i even got to the point of being influenced by influenza but i was forced to still go to school, attend a movie at UP Film Institute, finish editing and meet again some friends.
it's as if the season of sneezing and sniffs is already here. almost everyone is infected, but we do not mind that idea too much. we're just relieved that nothing went far worse to food poisoning and the like.
school jazz, not blues. we're about to start with the fourth and last dance for our tap dance classes. in each new step that progresses, it's getting more difficult and allowed us to sweat more than ever. Miss Kimpo decided to record repeatedly so that right after one song ends, it starts again immediately. we barely had time to breathe. anyway, we're about to do a recital on March 5, Sunday. you're all invited, if the school security allows your entrance.
my feature essay landed on the LRt-2, its stations and commuters. never had the idea that i'll be spending too much on an everyday routine. i failed to reach Santolan just to get to know what's lurking there, but i had the paper done. along with my english blockmates' own essays, our professor decided to post it on our blog. so bother yourself and check it out: The Purple Line Affair and Other Essays.
science class, err botany, didn't change at all. except that i have to memorize more terms than ever. calculus does the same, getting far more complicated that we thought. and because of calculations, we thought of doing S3 as a fourth derivative of an equation, which we'll be using for a block shirt... seems.
Literature class is weird now. our project-slash-test would be a story presentation entitled, "Murder at _____" (couldn't recall the title). names were already given and all we had to do was characterize the roles and invent the other elements. our group decided to draw lots for our names... and who am i going to play? the name is ANALYN, hahah babae?! we had no choice but to portray them, i originally got Remedios but ended up with Analyn, who would be the murderer of the story... shet, ako ang star! ang bida! ang kriminal! haha, i have another male groupmate and he got the role of Clarita. ngayon, sino'ng mas malandi?! nyaha!
fast stuff. there are other things that need not be put into details. finally, CMLI JCAA's ViH 2006 found a new contest piece, which i was not aware of 'til the last minute. but i was told it's going to be so cool this year! go for gold! the contest piece? it's a really good song, that's it.
Carlo Vergara's creation is now a musical! Zsazsa Zaturnnah ze muzikal will be showing this weekends. my ate and i would be watching it on the 25th of Februrary, 3pm at CCP. i heard many CMLIers would be watching, too! see you there! good thing, there's 50% discount for students!
i'm overwhelmed with gratitude [kanta ito 'di ba?] that Mai would be coming home earlier, May 14! JC-NEB2k5 would be having a reunion this weekend. and i still have no project proposal for ADMU MISA Step-Up session.
oh yes, and please, stop with the rumors high school friends. i have no girlfriend at the moment, and whoever the girl you saw with me, i couldn't recall. there are still other problems to attend to.
