okay, you may find this weird. i found the Da Vinci Code movie to be really good. and i watched it despite moralist rallies, friends' criticisms, and bans on some malls.
i do not care, i you liked it or not. but i hate you if you scratch it to zero just because you expected the movie to show the book's own words.
yes, generally, movies are not showing everything that come from the book. some storylines have to be deleted or edited just because it's out of league and irrelevant. and then you'll say the movie sucks just because you reason out a scene was cut.
please, stupid folks, base it on the movie itself, not from the book it was based. in the first place, why go to the movies just to be frustrated when you've already read it already. it's like reading the book again, visually. and you are irritated when you know the movie goes off the book and then resurfaces again to a skipped scene.
movie and book are two different things. a book is only an instrument of imagination. if you do not agree what the director pictured just because you saw differently, it's not their fault.
why watch LOTR? Harry Potter? The Notebook? Memoirs of a Geisha? i pity you.
kaya nga the movies present it with, "based from the novel..." at hindi 'copied.'
it only means one thing: you are not a good audience, not even a good movie critique.
ayun lang, nasabi ko na ang gusto kong sabihin. maluwag na ng onti ang utak ko. kung may kakampi ako dyan, magbunyi tayo!
...thank you for seeing the bigger picture!
